Taylor Swezey is the club owner and head coach of WC Riptide. She played at the University of Virginia on a full athletic scholarship, was a high school All-American, and was a member of the U16 US National Team. She was the assistant coach for the Varsity team at Harvard Westlake in Los Angeles and the 7th-grade coach for the HW middle school team. Taylor was also USAFH Futures Region 11 Huntington Beach’s head coach. She grew up playing for the Mystx Field Hockey Club outside of Philadelphia. Her mother is in the La Salle Hall of Fame, and her parents coached for Mystx and Hatboro Horsham HS. Her younger sister, Casey, played for the Princeton Tigers field hockey team and the Tigers lacrosse team.

Sue Hodgkins played four years of varsity field hockey at Harwich High School in Massachusetts, where her team won the Cape and Islands Championship all four years and went on to win the South Sectional State Championship one year. She then played D1 field hockey at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, where she participated in the Final Four her junior year and trained at Olympic development camps before suffering a knee injury. She also participated in the Massachusetts Bay State Games and coached summer field hockey camps in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and at the White Mountain Sports Camp in Maine. While at UMASS, she also ran the intramural field hockey program for several years. Currently the Program Head at Harvard-Westlake, Sue has coached middle school and high school field hockey there since 2009.
Giles Andrews has over three decades of experience playing field hockey in the UK and, recently, the USA, highlighted by his time as a league-winning midfielder in Division One, Northeast in England, while at the University of Durham. He has played for, coached, and captained many club teams in both the UK and California. He has been a varsity assistant and middle school coach at Harvard Westlake for the past two years and is currently on the USA Masters National Team. Giles also has a long history in martial arts, coaching a wide range of students and professionals in the UK.
Julia Soares grew up in Rhode Island playing field hockey for Barrington High School, where she earned first-team all-state and all-division honors while leading her team to Division I titles in 2012 and 2015. She also received the NFHCA Southern New England Regional Team award and the Rhode Island Cox Sports Award Player of the Year title in 2014. Julia went on to play Division III field hockey at Gettysburg College, where she was elected as team captain. She earned a spot on the NFHCA All-South Region Second Team and All-Centennial Conference First Team. Upon moving to Los Angeles, she continues to play competitively on the Santa Monica club team and coaches both high school and middle school girls at Harvard Westlake. In her free time, she loves going to the beach, hiking, and painting.
Callie Srader had a 17-year career in both club and school-level field hockey. She played Varsity Field Hockey at Trinity Episcopal School for four years, contributing to the team’s achievements, including a remarkable national ranking of #6 in her junior year and two back-to-back undefeated seasons. Callie and her team had four state finals appearances, clinched two State Champion Titles, and secured four League Champion titles. Notably, she was honored as an All-League Player during her Senior year. Callie also underwent rigorous international training at the Sport Ways Elite Camp in Amsterdam over three consecutive summers. She committed to Ball State University’s Division 1 program, where she played for a season before transferring. Alongside her collegiate pursuits, Callie remained deeply involved in club hockey, representing the Panthers United Field Hockey Club in Richmond, Virginia, where she had coaching responsibilities for several years. She also participated in the USA Field Hockey Futures program and was selected to attend Nationals twice. Callie has held a USA Field Hockey Level 1 Coaching Certification for five years. Presently, she serves as the Junior Varsity Coach for Harvard-Westlake. Beyond the field, Callie indulges in diverse interests, including crocheting, climbing, engaging in video games, and doting on her beloved cat, Meeko.
Liz Heckard recently graduated from Stanford University and played on the Division I Varsity field hockey team as a forward, midfield, and defender throughout her years. She is from Virginia Beach, VA and started playing field hockey in middle school for the TCOYO field hockey club and Norfolk Academy. She participated in the Futures program and played at Nationals 2x and her club team placed in the top 4 nationally at Club Cup her junior year of high school. At Stanford her team made it as far as the Elite 8 in the NCAA tournament before losing to UNC. She has coached multiple college camps, tournaments, and clinics throughout her field hockey career and loves working with the next generation. She recently moved to Los Angeles and enjoys hiking, pickleball, going to the farmers markets around LA, and trying new food!
Lily Katzman is a 2020 graduate of Northwestern University, where she played four years as an NCAA Division I field hockey scholarship student-athlete. During her time at Northwestern, Lily helped lead the Wildcats to the NCAA Elite Eight in 2017 and a Sweet Sixteen appearance in 2019.
Lily has 10+ years of coaching experience, including working with clubs such as RISE (Chicago) and AIM Field Hockey (St. Louis), as well as coaching at various Northwestern Field Hockey camps. For the past two years, she has specialized in private and small group coaching for all ages across the Chicagoland area.
