
Cristina Carotenuto is the Head Coach and Program Director for WC Riptide: Orange County. She is also the Head Coach at Fountain Valley High School. She was the starting goalie at Temple University while majoring in Kinesiology, and she now brings her elite-level playing experience and a passion for youth development to the program. Before Temple, Cristina played for the WC Eagles. Her teams achieved championship success at the highest levels, including first-place finishes at the U19 Disney Showcase, multiple National Indoor Tournaments, and the Keystone State Games. Cristina is an incredible coach with a huge love of the game, and we are lucky to have her!

Ashley Drum graduated from the College of William and Mary in 2021, where she played Division 1 Field Hockey as a forward after transferring & playing at the University of Iowa. During her time at William & Mary, the team won the 2018 CAA Championship- defeating Delaware to advance to the NCAA tournament. Ashley finished her senior season as the team’s leading goal scorer. As a Virginia Beach native, Ashley played for the TCOYO club and Cox High School, helping to win the state championship senior year and advance the club to 4th in the nation during the club cup tournament. She has coached numerous clinics and Nexus sessions over her career, while recently coaching Cape Henry Collegiate as the assistant in 2024. Now based in Orange County, she loves running, trying new workout classes, snowboarding, cooking and hiking.
