This Season’s Approach: Prepping for Tournament Play!:

Phase 1 – Foundation Building (Early Season)

  • Master the fundamentals: dribbling, ball control, and stick skills
  • Perfect your passing and receiving techniques
  • Build confidence through high-repetition practice
  • Focus: Individual skill development and getting LOTS of touches

Phase 2 – Game Intelligence (Mid Season)

  • Learn tactical awareness: where to be and when
  • Understand attacking strategies and defensive positioning
  • Create and use space like a pro
  • Focus: Connecting skills to actual game situations

Phase 3 – Competition Ready (Late Season)

  • Execute fast transitions and smart switching
  • Apply everything in competitive game scenarios
  • Fine-tune team strategies and communication
  • Focus: Cal Cup preparation and bringing it all together
