This Season’s Approach: Prepping for Tournament Play!:
Phase 1 – Foundation Building (Early Season)
- Master the fundamentals: dribbling, ball control, and stick skills
- Perfect your passing and receiving techniques
- Build confidence through high-repetition practice
- Focus: Individual skill development and getting LOTS of touches
Phase 2 – Game Intelligence (Mid Season)
- Learn tactical awareness: where to be and when
- Understand attacking strategies and defensive positioning
- Create and use space like a pro
- Focus: Connecting skills to actual game situations
Phase 3 – Competition Ready (Late Season)
- Execute fast transitions and smart switching
- Apply everything in competitive game scenarios
- Fine-tune team strategies and communication
- Focus: Cal Cup preparation and bringing it all together

Each theme progressively builds technical skills (Weeks 1-3), adds tactical elements (Weeks 4-9), then focuses on tournament-specific preparation (Weeks 10-14).
